No action is required for the transfer.<br><br>Please note that any working orders, including stop-loss and take-profit orders, will not carry over.&nbsp;<strong>If you have existing positions or working orders, we recommend reviewing them before 26 September 2026.<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td class=\"has-text-align-left\" data-align=\"left\"><strong>28 September 2026<\/strong><\/td><td>24-hour trading goes live for all 40 selected US shares CFDs on NOVA and Phillip MT5.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What\u2019s changing?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Currently, the selected US shares CFDs are available under contracts with defined trading sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From 28 September 2026, trading for these shares will move to new 24-hour contracts, giving you access to the market across the US pre-market, regular trading and after-hours sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new 24-hour contracts will be identified by the suffix <strong>-24H<\/strong> (e.g. <strong>AAPL-24H<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>24-hour trading hours<\/strong><br>Monday 8:00am \u2013 Saturday 5:00am SGT (US DST)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The extended hours will apply to 40 US shares CFDs across NASDAQ and NYSE, including Apple, Amazon, Tesla, Microsoft and Nvidia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-white-color has-pale-cyan-blue-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.phillipnova.com.sg\/cn\/educational_articles\/24-hour-trading-in-us-share-cfds-what-traders-need-to-know\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">View the full list of 40 shares CFDs<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What happens to your existing open positions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>If you trade on NOVA<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have open positions in any of the 40 affected CFDs before the transition to the new contracts, they will be automatically transferred to the corresponding 24-hour contracts over the weekend of 26\u201327 September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No action is required for the transfer. Here\u2019s what to expect:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Your market exposure remains unchanged<\/strong><br>Your open positions will be transferred to the corresponding 24-hour contract. If you hold multiple open positions in the same contract, they will be combined into a single position at the average price of your entries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Accumulated swap points will be settled, not lost<\/strong><br>Any swap points accrued up to the transfer will be settled and reflected as Realised P&amp;L in your statement, rather than carried forward as part of your unrealised position.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Your unrealised P&amp;L will continue to reflect your original entry price<\/strong><br>Following the transfer, your unrealised P&amp;L will continue to be calculated based on your original entry price, excluding the swap amount that has already been settled as Realised P&amp;L.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In short, your position and market exposure carry over to the new 24-hour contract automatically, while accumulated swap is separately settled into your Realised P&amp;L.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>If you trade on Phillip MT5<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you hold open positions in any of the affected contracts over the weekend of 26\u201327 September 2026, they will be automatically transferred to the corresponding 24-hour contracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No action is required for the transfer. Here\u2019s what to expect:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Your open positions will be transferred automatically<\/strong><br>Positions in the existing PM and main contracts will be transferred to the corresponding new -24H contract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Positions on the same side will be consolidated<\/strong><br>Buy positions across the existing PM and main contracts will be combined into a single buy position. Sell positions will similarly be combined into a single sell position.<br><br>Each consolidated position will have a new volume-weighted average entry price, rounded down to the number of decimal places quoted for the contract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Your buy and sell exposure will remain separate<\/strong><br>Buy and sell positions will not be netted against each other. The positions are simply consolidated under <strong>AAPL-24H<\/strong>, with a single weighted average entry price for each side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note that working orders placed on the existing PM or main contracts will not carry over to the new 24-hour contracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This includes orders such as stop-loss and take-profit orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have working orders on any affected contracts, we recommend reviewing them before the transition. Where required, you will need to place new working orders on the corresponding -24H contract after 24-hour trading goes live on 28 September.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What should you do?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the transfer of your existing open positions, no action is required. However, we encourage you to review your positions before the transition, particularly if you wish to close or adjust them beforehand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From 28 September 2026, simply look for the new -24H contracts on NOVA or Phillip MT5 to trade the selected US Shares CFDs around the clock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>40 US Shares CFDs available for 24-hour trading<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Market-moving developments don\u2019t always happen during regular US trading hours.
