Phillip Nova Now Offers SGX Institutional-Grade Crypto Perpetual Futures

26 11 月 2025

Phillip Nova is pleased to offer our eligible clients access to SGX Bitcoin Perpetual Futures (SGX: BTP) and SGX Ethereum Perpetual Futures (SGX: ETP) — a landmark development by SGX Derivatives that brings institutional discipline, transparency, and clearing standards to crypto’s most traded products.

Launched on 24 November 2025, SGX’s crypto perpetual futures combine the continuous, no-expiry format favoured by crypto-native traders with the robust margining, clearing and governance of a regulated exchange. This marks a major step forward in bridging traditional financial markets with the fast-growing digital asset ecosystem.

Why perpetual futures?
Perpetual futures represent over US$187 billion in daily global trading volumes, with Asia at the centre of activity. Yet much of this trading remains on offshore venues. SGX’s new contracts bring these flows on-exchange, enabling institutions to trade at scale with confidence and transparency.

The contracts are benchmarked to iEdge CoinDesk Crypto Indices, aligning price discovery to institutional-grade benchmarks widely used across the industry.

Industry leaders across digital assets, banking, and global liquidity providers have welcomed the launch as a pivotal move toward deeper, regulated participation in crypto markets.
