👍 Retail crypto sentiment appears to remain relatively intact – Long-term BTC holders and moderate-to-larger wallet holders (up to at least 10BTC) increased greatly on last week’s crypto flash-crash, while wallets holding more than 100BTC declined sharply during the same period.

🤔 ARK Investment Management has revealed through a revised filing with the SEC, that the prospectus for the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) may be open to investing in cryptocurrency ETFs – specifically the GBTC, or Canadian Bitcoin ETFs.

💵 Decentralised-Finance(DeFi)-related tokens and projects (such as Ethereum) to do with lending may see some turmoil in the near-term, with the SEC on Coinbase’s back over ‘Coinbase Lend’ and having explicitly mentioned that it was the beginning of further probing on other lending protocols.

Cryptocurrency CFD is available for trading on Phillip MetaTrader 5 (MT5).

Features of trading CFD

  • Trade in both the bull and the bear markets
The ability to enter a long and/or short position allows traders to take advantage of both rising and falling markets.
  • Smaller barrier to entry
CFDs typically have flexible and smaller contract sizes. This means that traders will be able to enter into a CFD contract with a modest amount of capital.
  • No expiration date or risk of delivery
Unlike futures which commonly have a fixed expiration date, CFDs allow traders to perpetually hold the position(s). CFDs are cash settled, no need to worry about the delivery of the underlying asset.
