Eligibility criteria for a Phillip Nova Prestige Account customer
- Fund and maintain a minimum of SGD 250,000 (or equivalent) worth of Asset Under Custody and;
- Accredited Investor status
An Accredited Investor (AI) is someone who meets the requirements set out by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and has opted in to be treated as an Accredited Investor by financial institutions. Accredited investors are assumed to be better informed and better able to access resources to protect their own interests.

Yes, you are required to download the MT5 platform in the Phillip Futures Setup. Instructions and link for download will be provided in the email that will be sent upon submitting the registration form.
Phillip Futures will issue you a MT5 login for the purpose of the competition upon submitting the registration form. Only this login will be taken into consideration for FOREXperience 2021.
You can place demo trades on the platform up till day of Introductory Night (12th November 2021). Trading access will be disabled and equity balance will be reset ahead of the commencement of trading period which starts at 5am, 15th November 2021.
All realised profits are valued in USD. Open positions will be liquidated at 12pm on 17th December 2021.
Yes, Phillip MT5 runs on hedge mode which enables simultaneous holding of opposite positions in the same contract.
The trading competition period will commence at 5am SGT, 15th November 2021, and will end at 12pm, 17th December 2021.
Everyone will be given a starting capital of $50,000.
You do not have to use the entire given capital.
At least 5 trades must be made during the duration of this competition.
There is no minimum or maximum position size per trade set in this competition. For minimum size for each contract, see here.
The starting capital of $50,000 is your available margin.
The top 10 winners will be mainly selected based on the net percent increase of their capital, but other measurements such as Margin of Safety, Sharpe Ratio, etc may be used to determine the overall ranking in the competition.
If there is a tie between position holders, we will select based on the highest win-rate in percentage.
