Bitcoin Rebounds Back To $20k Support Level; Hacktivist Group Anonymous Vows To Prosecute Terra Founder

😖 Bitcoin rebounded back to trade above $20,300 this morning despite breaking below its $20,000 support level yesterday. The fall comes amidst a flurry of discouraging economic indicators and news, with Singapore’s central bank reprimanding crypto hedge fund Three Arrows Capital for misleading investors with falsified information and the US Fed reinstating their commitment toward monetary hawkishness. Bitcoin was up 1.7% from the past 24 hours. Ether traded at $1,098, up 0.7% . Other major altcoins such as XRP and LTC assumed different shades of green, increasing by 2% and 3% respectively.

🎭The hacktivist collective Anonymous has vowed to prosecute Terra founder Do Kwon for the May ecosystem collapses of Terra (LUNA) and TerraUSD (UST). On Sunday, a video allegedly made by the hacker collective Anonymous rehashed a long list of Kwon’s alleged wrongdoings, including a withdrawal of $80 million per month from UST and LUNA before the latter’s collapse and his part in the downfall of the stable coin Basis Cash.

💰Struggling crypto lender BlockFi might soon be acquired by cryptocurrency exchange FTX for $25 million. BlockFi planned to close a down round of funding earlier this month at a $1 billion, as opposed to its previous $3 billion valuation in March last year. BlockFi had previously received a $250 million credit line from FTX, and the lender announced in mid-June that it was laying off around 20% of its workforce.
