๐Tuesday’s trading saw the Ethereum Merge and increased investor optimism about the economy contribute to the steady climb in crypto prices. Bitcoin soared above the $23k mark, trading at $23,300. BTCโs performance pales in comparison to ether, which has surged by around 50% over the last week as news of the Merge was announced.
๐Yuga Labs, the development company behind well-known NFT collection Bored Apes Yacht Club, said in a tweet on Monday that assailants are using phishing scams to target the non-fungible tokens (NFT) community. The warning was issued in light of recent NFT exploits that have cost millions of dollars.
๐ฆAccording to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Singapore does not have complete regulation over struggling crypto companies that are headquartered there. Cryptocurrency markets have lost about $2 trillion in a couple of weeks during the most recent market slump, causing Singapore to toughen its stance on digital assets.
