Stocks fall as growth concerns weigh

📊 US Q3 GDP data is due later today, and is expected to come in at around +2.8% – the ‘slowest’ quarter on record since the pandemic-induced recession began.

🧐 The US economy is continuing to come under strong pressure from supply chain issues and labour market imbalances, with shipping jams at large US ports not expected to be resolved until “some time into” 2022, while the labour market still has over 10 million job vacancies that are proving hard to fill.

🏠 A 3D-printed neighbourhood is being built in Texas, with around 100 homes planned to be built using technology from the 3D printing company Icon by 2022. 3D printing has been gaining traction amongst various industries from industrial manufacturing to healthcare, but this may be the most public example of its utility yet.
